My name is Andrea Russell, I am the owner of Optasia Graphics, an award winning graphic design and photography studio based in Santa Barbara, California. My work spans a range of disciplines, including logo design, corporate branding, illustration and product photography.

I have been drawing and painting since before I could even walk and talk, my artistic expression found its way from my hand into my computer mouse. Using today’s most cutting-edge technology I have created a full range of marketing support materials for museums, restaurants, educational institutions, non-profits, technology firms, jewelry retailers and clothing manufacturers. I have created design work for companies from New York to California and have been fortunate to be able to collaborate on several book designs and children’s illustrations.

I started my career as Art Director for several magazines and a weekly newspaper,  I went on to launch Optasia Graphics in 2006. My early years in publishing helped forge my talents beyond artistic pursuits. I thrive on attention to detail, the demands of cast iron deadlines and adherence to tight budgets. I consider myself  blessed to have worked with so many amazing clients of few of which are, Silverhorn Jewelers, Jose´ Eber, Waxing Poetic, Cottage Hospital, Ruffle Butts and Herban Essentials.

My design work has appeared in numerous publications including California Homes, Western Interiors, Santa Barbara Magazine, Santa Barbara Seasons, 805 Living, Food & Wine, Cowboys, & Indians, Islands, New Beauty, and Resorts & Great Hotels.

I really enjoy forming relationships with my clients and working hard to help realize their visions. I am proud to say so many of my clients are now my friends.
